Executing Criminals Who Are Mentally Ill

We think that executing people who do not know what they did is wrong. We also think that the mentally handicapped that commit crimes should be put in legitimate hospitals. We found the fact that people think that Ferguson is "faking" being mentally ill even though he has been properly diagnosed with a mental disability. This is connected to the novel because Lennie knows he did something wrong, but does not know what it was that he did.
